I am an avid reader, writer, and supporter of our troops. I'm an ARMY mom and a mother to a wonderful daughter who is just getting started in the nursing field. I had been a stay at home/work from home mom for 19 years, I spent some time writing as a way to escape the everyday doldrums of parenthood. When my son joined the Army I decided to get out into the world and I went to work at a local daycare facility. Helping other children helps me to stay focused and helps keep my mind off of the impending empty nest syndrome.
