@Adorably_Deranged I would do medieval times, maybe even Victorian. You can look up pictures to get a visual idea of the setting. If they’re doing inventions that can only be used to help or destroy then I might bring something like mana or aura into the story, and incorporate it into the setting/ society you decide on.
