            I won't be going to philosophical terms with you, but love strengthens a person both physically and mentally. The idea and fact of knowing that somebody loves you pushes yourself to achieve and become a better person... Love is being able to know that somebody out there cares for you and that you care for them back. So, yes, the 'sacrifice' is worth it.
