"[ Important Message To Otakus Everywhere ] Recently, there has been stuff going around about the government(s) taking down anime / manga sites such as mangareader.com and animefreak. Unfortunately, this is all too true. It started off with an USA official going to Japan and seeing the hentai. [ It was with little children, so it's been labeled as child porn. ] Anyways, they decided this was disgusting and they wanted to ban it. Some of you may know that it has been reported in CNN news. [The article, ehem, basically dissed us. Just the way they worded it... It was as if we were some hated life form or something.] (Friendly reminder to any government or CNN employees that support this; I suggest you get off my page, get off this site, get off the internet, get off the FREAKING EARTH. I will hurt you severely. No one, and I mean no one, fucks around with otakus, anime, and manga.) In the end, it somehow spread to the rest and now they're getting rid of many free anime/manga sites. As many of you know, a lot of us can't afford to buy manga or anime. Plus, some manga and anime you can't get in your country. That's why I have a huge problem with this. So minna. It's up to us to fight back. We must retaliate. This is almost exactly like SOPA, but this time, they're attacking the source; ANIME AND MANGA I, for one, will not go down without a fight. Anime and manga is how I found you guys. Anime and manga has been slowly incorporated into my freaking life. It's one of my very few life lines. And there is no way in fucking hell that I will allow the damn government or whatever take that away. It's your turn to spread the word. However, this time, unlike SOPA, let's give them a fight that they'll never forget. Let's give them a fight that will make them stop doing this. Let's give the world a fight to remember. I've heard there has been some talk around Wattpad of this movement called SOPA,which was passed by a Texas republican, it apparently is supposed to make All forms of FanArt, Fanfics and other things of the sort Illegal. The penalty is Jail time. I don't think that's fair. It will make websites such as our dearly beloved Wattpad, and other websites go out of business and close. SOPA is real and its out to get us... literally. But I also found out that The White House says that if this bill SOPA (and PIPA) gets passed through congress, the President plans to veto it. But we are not out of the clear yet because congress can vote on it again, and if it gets passed then it becomes law. If you protest repost this and add your username on the back. Let's see the list grow!
