@lwatts41 I'm not the best at explaining but I'll try: "My dearest, Angelica" is written as to say "Angelica, you are dearest to me" But "My dearest Angelica" is more like a title, like that's how he addressed her, the comma seperates the dearest and Angelica so tl;dr: the comma puts emphasis on the "dearest" instead of after Angelica, where it puts the emphasis on her name.
