okay! thoughts on love triangles? from what i’ve seen it’s pretty divided, some love them and some hate them. so only like them if the second person is really given a chance and not just mentioned. i was thinking of adding one into my work in progress :)

I both love and hate love triangles. I feel that if there ever will be a love triangle in my work- because I do love the drama- I would try my hardest not to make one character the main focus. Do you get what I’m saying? Like, if there’s one character that’s just indecisive about which of the two they like more it can get pretty boring and really toxic. If you do choose to add a love triangle to the plot of a story, I recommend either making the other two roles fall in love with each other and moving on from the main point of the triangle or add something like money, greed, power, or manipulation to the mix, keeping the one true pairing from getting together. If someone really has to choose between two people to love, they don’t love either one.
