Morning lovelies,
          
          In the spirit of transparency, in 2026, I aim to update the chapters of my fanfic 'Holding Hands in the Rain' every 6-8 weeks. While I understand this is a long stretch of time, I'm a mum of two very avid, busy dancers, and I work full-time. 
          
          Please know that Nina and Kakashi's story is one I wish to see through to the end, for everyone's souls.
          
          In addition to the above, updates may take longer or sometimes shorter. I have something cooking in the background that may...no...will, take priority at times--such is the nature of the beast that is 'creativity'. 
          
          I cannot thank everyone for their continued support and hope you all continue along for the journey.

          Sorry for the massive delay. Joys of getting old, my gallbladder unexpectedly decided it needed to be evicted. Am working hard in new chapters. And yes, that was plural, as it’s now summer holidays in sunny Australia.

          Chapter 40 is well underway, and I know it’s painful waiting for an update, but please be patient with me. I am currently battling my two daughter’s dance commitments, full time work, a sick child and absolutely hammering into this chapter because, well, when it comes out you will see. It’s heavy & loaded.
          
          Please know a chapter update is incoming.
          
          Due to the nature of the chapter all I can offer is this very minimal one line of dialogue: “It never did.”

Heya lovelies,
          New chapter up! This chapter almost did me in after I lost a significant portion of it to a technical glitch, which I felt was some of my best work in some time. Fortunately, I managed to Frankenstein it back together, and it hopefully still hits.
