@ladyweatherall Hi! Kallia here, big fan of The Godfather trilogy and the Corleones! I've only just found your story and I've already saved it in one of my reading lists, but I'm so excited to start reading! There seems to be a lack of fics based on The Godfather here on Wattpad, but I never give up hope and I'm always looking for new ones. Imagine how absolutely thrilled I was at discovering yours! It definitely looks promising, and judging by the way you wrote the blurb, I just know I'm going to love your Michael Corleone and Isabella Giordano! Honestly can't wait to begin this journey with you as you write the story. I'd like to ask, would you ever consider writing a story for Sonny Corleone too? He's my most favorite character in the whole movie trilogy AND the books, and I also have a soft spot for his relationship with his wife Sandra. If you've read The Family Corleone by Ed Falco (which is the authorized prequel to the book and the first movie), or seen these two scenes they have together in the movie, you'll probably understand why! I'm actually sad there aren't any Sonny fics out there at all, with maybe just one exception that I know of, but were you to ever consider writing one, I know I'd fully trust you to do my precious hotheaded Santino justice! Have you ever thought about it? Also, because I saw the Peaky Blinders reference in your bio here, and I can't help but ask once again: what about a John Shelby story? Do you have any plans for Peaky Blinders in general? John is my man, I absolutely love his character and his marriage to Esme in the series, and I cried so hard when he was killed. On a side note, I also liked Jack Nelson (Gina's uncle) in the final season. I'm wondering, how did you find him? I'll give it to James Frecheville, he did a terrific job with the role, and he's HOT. Wow, this message got really long, so I'll just stop now. Thank you for taking the time to read all this, and for sharing your story with us all. Lots of love xx

Hi @XxKalliaXx ! Thanks again for your message, I really appreciate it. I’ve seen your comments, and I have to say, they’re super sweet (thank you!). I don’t really plan on adding a face claim for now, but I’ll keep the idea in mind and might reconsider it. And as for my name, well, it’s Nella, of course! And I’m actually French.

@ladyweatherall To sum it up, I absolutely adore Sonny, and I'm hoping you will revisit your own idea for a fic once you're finished with Miss Giordano and you feel like the time is right! Until then, maybe you could try to include him and his relationships in Miss Giordano whenever you think you can involve him with Isabella, Michael or the other characters in a scene, if you want to? I'd absolutely love to see your take on Sonny and Sandra's relationship or Sonny's affection for Tom, Connie and Michael, through Isabella's eyes, if that's something you'd consider including in the plot. Anyway, I'm sure Sonny features a lot in Miss Giordano, so I'm looking forward to getting reacquainted with him in it! As for Peaky Blinders: I don't think there's anyone who has watched the series and didn't fall in love with Thomas Shelby, so I don't see how I could have been the exception! I'm excited to see you work on a Tommy fic when the time comes. I'd like to wish you the best kind of inspiration for that one! I'm sure you'll do a great job. Now, let's see if I can go meet Miss Isabella Giordano right now! All this talk has me thrilled to finally start reading. I only just found your story yesterday evening but the anticipation has already been too much to handle! Thank you once again for reading these messages, and lots of love. Kallia P.S. Nella is a beautiful name! It gives me a bit of Italian vibes. Are you American or British, if you don't mind me asking? 2/2

@ladyweatherall Hi Nella! Thank you for replying, I just checked and saw this. Again judging just by the blurb you wrote, I honestly think your prose is impressive, given that this is the first time you're writing a story. I'm planning on starting to read today or tomorrow, because I couldn't get around it last night (I'm actually writing to you all the way from Greece so there's the time difference, haha). I'm definitely making sure I vote for each chapter I read, and you can expect me to leave comments too! I'd love to interact with you as I read Michael and Isabella's story. Now that I've mentioned your couple, I was wondering if you have any faceclaims in mind for Isabella and her father Salvatore who's mentioned in the blurb? Faceclaims usually help me visualize scenes better, but that's just me. About our boy, Santino: I'm so glad we agree on this! He's definitely underrated. He's always viewed as the impulsive hothead acting Don who made bad decisions for the Family, but hey, nobody's perfect! I actually love a lot of things about him: he loved all his siblings unconditionally, I firmly believe Sandra was his true love and despite his cheating (and he was actually given somewhat of a premission to cheat by Sandra, you know why), he was a loving husband and I suppose a very good father, also a loyal son to Vito without doubt, he never laid a hand on a woman or a child because it was against his moral code and he didn't tolerate domestic violence either (see his reaction to Carlo beating Connie), he loved food (just like me, haha) and of course, he was really handsome, because that's peak James Caan right there! All that makes for a good man, and I appreciate that in fictional male characters. 1/2
