okay. so i’ve decided that i’m gonna post this cobra kai book that has been looming in my drafts for multiple months if not years so let me give yall some info as a sales pitch:
          
          the main character is dahlia ‘dollie’ aldera, she’s a us national karate champion, though she is currently retired for reasons she’s in therapy for and she lives with her grandma, an extremely wealthy fashion designer/socialite who has a very strange relationship with not only her on and off ex-husband, but his best friend and their business (wow i wonder who her grandpa is). anyway, back to therapy. her therapist gives her an assignment to make a friend and teach them something since he realizes she’s a recluse who purposefully avoids social interaction aside from shopping (sales associates only) and ballet (which she does 1 on 1)
          
          she then meets miguel diaz when her grandmother stops at one of her first boutiques, which is across the street from the strip mall where cobra kai dojo is. she then picks him and uses him for her assignment and the chain reaction of chaos that is the show cobra kai plays out around my many plots
