After writing 20,000 words, I've decided to end Parker. I am quite glad that Parker didn't gain as much audience as I will no longer write it, sadly. The joy of writing is still there, but writing Parker, specifically, did not bring anything but disdain. I used to love the story, I really did, but whatever my younger heart yearned before doesn't yearn it now. I thought this was merely a writer's block and it will soon fade way but unfortunately it didn't and I don't think it will ever. I am still extremely crestfallen by this decision since literally Parker has plagued my mind for over a year and I am just letting go. Maybe I will pick it up later though I don't think it's anytime soon. I am beyond grateful for the writing experience, the research I've made to make my knowledge broader and more importantly, the amazing people I've known through it.
I've been working on other projects behind the scenes with extreme earnestness and I cannot wait to share them with you guys with a better and more mature writing. Thank you all for the support and everything you guys have done xoxo
(God this is so formal i cant)
