hey guys i just published a book almost always is a story I’ve been carrying in my head for a long time—about love, friendship, and the messy in-betweens of growing up. it’s set in the 1950s, it follows Ruby and Cory, two Black teens navigating school, dreams, and the complicated pull of the people around them. It’s about loyalty, first crushes, grief, and finding your place in a world that doesn’t always make room for you.
this isn’t just a romance, though there’s plenty of that—it’s a story about change, about how people drift apart and find each other again, and about the little moments that end up mattering the most.
