Honestly. Lotor was Allura's first choice while Lance was a side piece. Allura and Lances relationship had no development what ever so while Klance had so many deep meaningful moments. Their relationship developed so much within the seasons that it was seriously such a low blow to the fandom with Allurance becoming cannon.
so I heard Season 8 was... FIRST OF ALL The show baited us with klance, they had so so much development, when Allurance didn’t really show much until half way through season 7. Allurance was so forced and had terrible development, and the creators didn’t even show us a cut scene of klance at the end or something like that. They tried to make up for it by having Shiro marry some guy that we barely got to see. Also am I the only one that noticed that Keith never had an actual CANON love interest like all the other paladins. Allura had lance, lance had Allura, Shiro had Adam and now who ever that guy was, hunk had Shay, and Pidge had science or that robot thing at the last episode. Apart from that, Keith was a well thought out character and so was Unurva, but they gave Allura way to much spotlight and it was the same thing over and over again like WE GET IT, YOUR FAMILY IS DEAD! Hunk wasn’t really developed, Shiro is still missing half an arm cuz Allura was lazy and couldn’t make the other half of the arm, Romelle didn’t get much of an endgame, baby Lotor sounded British for some reason, and Allura was still honored even though she had consumed the evil entity in the first place, and apparently she thought that making Unerva and Zarcon see the pain they caused when they had already had enough, was okay to do, Allura used Lance as a rebound from Lotor when she fell for Lotors tricks in the first place and didn’t listen to anyone else, she was still honored for sacrificing herself WITH Unerva who actually had a good reason to find a perfect reality but was still called evil. This season sucked and just made more questions and not enough answers.
