"For a week, he was my everything... for a lifetime, he'll be my happily ever after."
He doesn't want me, not anymore. He gave me hope, made me believe the stories I write could be true. He gave me the promise of all we could be, and then he disappeared, proving he never meant to be more than what we were. Now it's a decade later, and I'm forced to live in his presence. A presence he insists has never met me before. And if he wants to erase what that week meant, who am I to force it into existence? Even if for a while, that's all my mind would allow to exist.
