[ a sigh leaves her lips while a hand moves to cover her face. she didn’t know how to explain all of it to him, knowing this mess was a product of her own lack of honesty. ]     i know and i am so sorry for not telling you,  ace,  i really am.     [ mustering as much sincerity in her voice as she could, finally lowering her hand and meeting his gaze. tentatively she walked over to him but didn’t reach out to touch him, not wanting him to pull away ]     i fucked up. 

you didn’t exactly turn them down either!  if it was the other way around i would’ve shut down all that down right away!   hell—  you’ve gotten jealous over less,  liezel!  [releasing a frustrated sigh,  he pinches his temples as he tries to regain control of his emotions.  he doesn’t want to speak to her in such a manner,  even if he isn’t quite yelling he feels himself getting there.]    i still wish you would’ve told me.

[ his anger was more than valid and guilt clawed in her chest at never having brought up something so important. still, his words managed to sting ]     third wheel?!  remind me again when i returned any of his advances or—  or even looked in his direction!    [ silas may have been her oldest friend and the head of the bandits, but both of them knew only he ever was ever enamored. making is petty actions all the more frustrating ]      what he and i had,  it’s in the past.  i never even came close to loving him,  for fucks sake. 

@burglarys !               that’s certainly one way of looking at it.     [ the bandit simply shrugs her shoulders, making a point to look the other way and feign obliviousness ]      i’m sure the owners won’t miss them,  they seem to have plenty more where that came from.
