Last update was more than a year ago, where I told y'all I was planning to get some of my stories finished, and that I had new ideas.
...All of that went in the shitter.
I've got ideas. I've got stories in my head that I think might be fun. My issue is that I lost a lot of the motivation to write them.
I've got all the energy I need to plot and plan out each chapter, apparently. I've just lost the motivation to write, which isn't helped by the fact that when I look back, most of what I wrote feels like cringey garbage. I'm proud of a few pieces, but the majority of them just don't bring me that kind of joy anymore.
...I don't know if I'm coming back to Wattpad. I'm just cutting straight to the point.
I forgot this place existed for more than a year, and only came back to find an old OC draft that I wanted to touch up after I recycled the original draft - edit the backstory, give him a new outfit/name, y'know, like giving your car a new paint job.
I've discontinued most of my works, and the stuff I wanted to work on was left untouched for so damn long, and I've forgotten most of my lore. I'm trying to do too much at once - cleaning my house, completing my pokedexes for generations six through nine, finding new recipes because I like cooking/baking apparently, finding old games I like to play.
I think I'm also still trying to come to terms with the fact that cancer took my grandfather a few months ago.
...I don't know if I'm coming back.
If I do, I'll probably be rewriting most of my stuff. I'm not as proud of what I've written as I used to be. Honestly, I'm surprised so many people liked me at all.
Thank you all for sticking around anyway. And thanks for all the encouragement and constructive criticism. It's helped with my ideas.
