I'm getting tired of writing. The only people who get read, votes or comments on here are AI stuff. It's not fair to people like me who actually do research, edit and write for themselves. I'm seeing too much AI on here and other sites and it's irritating. AI is destroying the planet and publishing.
Okay, my vent is over. I'm done.

@latricia1 | I totally understand. I do too. I don't think you should give up writing, especially if it's a dream of yours to be published, but only you can make that decision. I can only offer support however I can. I'd be sad to see you so beat down to the point of wanting to quit. All I can say is I'm here if you need to talk or anything remotely similar. I'm online 99.9% of the time, if you need somebody to listen to you. It definitely is frustrating, and I hope you'll be okay. If not now, then sometime soon. We authors have got to stick together.

@latricia1 I definitely relate with the frustration. AI does little but corrupt the writing process, and it's extremely annoying to watch it become so prevalent, especially when it takes attention away from dedicated writers like yourself. I'm not quite sure how anyone who uses AI so dependently could feel any sort of fulfillment. No need to apologize!! I share your resentment

@CanadianEaglez Yeah, I was in a moaning period when I wrote that lol. It's just frustrating because I don't use AI at all for writing. I spend a lot of time researching and creating the soap and it kinda hurts to see the bots getting more attention. But I guess it's just the new future. AI is literally everywhere online which annoys me all the time. Sorry for my whining. It's been a lot of bad pain days lately and sometimes it gets to me. Thank you so much for commenting here!

@latricia1 I also empathize with what you said in another post about AI being so prevalent and this app being susceptible to promoting lifeless stories created by machines rather than actual stories created by people. Majority of my comments are bots too. It's incredibly frustrating. And I also empathize with the waning motivation you are feeling to continue writing. It's an ebb and flow to do this like we do, and oftentimes the satisfaction in it isn’t linear. I figure if I'd like people to read mine, I should delve into theirs, too (which I'm not suggesting you don’t, but it is a habit I haven’t been very good at doing). I might try to begin that habit with your soap:)

Okay, this story genre is annoying. I had to literally change the category to genre or whatever on each story. And it also had my mature content turned off so I had to fix that too. On every story including drafts smh. I'm not even sure if it's even an useful change. Anyway, my head hurts now and for the first time ever I don't feel like writing. I'm kinda annoyed. That was a lot of stories smh.
