Hi everyone (the few of you who know me), another wattpadder has kindly alerted me about something very important.
Have you heard of Article 13? Basically it's a new legislation that has been passed that bans the use of copyrighted material. This could completely change the internet as we know it. It's threatening youtubers, the making of memes, even Google are going to suffer greatly because they rely in sharing information. This is going to massively affect the wattpad community. Fanfics could be taken down, anything that is not your own original material could be classed as copyright and you could get your books taken down due to this. I have researched it and it is a real thing. This is a real issue we are going to have to face.
