Statement: 
          
          Summer break is nearing its time and it means I’m sharing with you all a statement on what to expect from me in the coming weeks and months. 
          
          First, I’d like to make it clear that unfortunately I am not ready to make a full return both in the social media scene as an author, nor do I have enough chapters to release. 
          
          Through, as suggested, I am delighted to announce that I started writing again, but only towards the latter part of summer. 
          
          Technically I could make my return quite soon, however considering how long it has been since I’ve been fully in the scene, I’ve decided to make a full return once I am well advanced in chapters for multiple works. 
          
          Thus, in the coming weeks or months, you can expect the 2025 Version of I’m Not Just Your Boy Toy to make a return + plus 2 new other works + potentially full edits of some books I’ve already completed. 
          
          In the coming weeks, as things get clearer, I will make an updated guideline and once I do make my return, you can expect a statement of return notice on one or more books. :)
          
          Despite my long break away from writing, I am grateful for the sudden traction of some of my stories and I appreciate the support and feedback I’ve gotten, even if my absence indicates that it might not indicate so. 
          
          In the meantime as suggested, those who wish to read from me, I have 10~ stories that can be read and 8 completed stories. 
          
          I hope I will be making my full return sooner rather than later.

Update on my whereabouts: 
          
          This update has been long overdue but here it is now. 
          
          First off, I know I basically never make posts on here but I’ll share what I mentioned on my other socials.
          
          Most importantly, I do apologize for vanishing once again without saying anything. 
          
          Over a month ago I mentioned one of my communities that I had to focus on my studies and my break thankfully had nothing to do with my mental health. 
          
          Instead these last two months I’ve been focusing on other parts of my life and my other interests. 
          
          Additionally, I hate to admit it but for more than a month I’ve lost the motivation to write and the connection to the writing community as I focused on my other interests and my studies.
          
          Though I doubt it’s permanent, it never has, however, unfortunately, unlike the last few times, I am not announcing that I’ll go back to writing again right away. If I did I’d be lying and forcing myself when the spark is not quite back. 
          
          I just wanted to make a post to let you all know that I’m okay and where I’m at. 
          
          Probably sometime during the summer, I’ll get back to writing to and at the very least finish the 2025 version of I’m Not Just Your Boy Toy. 
          
          For now, those who do wish to read my works are fortunate to have over 10 books already out on Inkitt. Particularly, strangely my book Our Complicated Love Story has been performing well after 3 years but I appreciate it. 
          
          Regardless, thank you for the sudden support I’ve received during my break. Just so you know I always appreciate and cherish it even if I do feel disconnected from my role as an online author currently. -Lauren 

It's official, the 2025 version of I'm Not Your Boy Toy is now available to be read as of now on either Wattpad or Tapas! As for the third platform Inkitt, it is still waiting to be approved. 
          
          The new version includes the first half of the chapter meaning a whomping 29 chapters with one being the original 2023's Valentine Day special and the last being the characters' profiles. 
          
          Also, unlike the original, all the chapters that are now included, include the extra explicit chapters that were only available on Inkitt before. 
          
          If you enjoyed reading I'm Not Just Your Boy Toy and you wish to read the new version, now's your chance.
          
          Additionally, for those who have already read the original, you will notice that it’s especially as the story progresses that the 2025 version becomes progressively different than the original. 
          
          I hope you’ll like the 2025 version and I’m glad to finally be back to writing! 

Additionally, I want to announce that as soon as I will be done working and publishing the 2025 version of I'm not just your boy toy, I will be working on a new novel.
          
          Based on my position right now, I should start officially working on it by March. 
          
          This new novel will mark my first new novel I've done since June 2024 and I hope that it will go well and I hope that especially the release of the 2025 version of I'm Not Just Your Boy Toy will set the tone for my next novel which may or may not resemble it. ;)

Also, I completely forgot to mention it on here since I don't really post but here is an announcement I had made a few weeks back.
          
          I had previously mentioned that I would be making a reboot of my novel Running Away From Feelings but unfortunately it is postponed for the feasible future. 
          
          As I was working through the reboot, I had new ideas for plan and they are great but unfortunately for now the timing right now is not great and my interest in long-term commitment is low. Thus, for now, the reboot of Running Away from Feelings is postponed.
          
          I hope you can all understand and don’t hate me for that. 
          
          I also apologize for giving this sense of hope with the return and reboot of Running Away from Feelings. The thing is on paper/in theory, all my plans should work but in the end, I’m a person with lots of ideas and I admit I have issues with commitment and constancy and I hate that as it is extremely unfair to readers but I can’t help it.
          
          It seems like I’m Running away just like the characters from the novel.  But really I realize that making my return for this year with Running Away from Feelings is not the answer.
          
          To be honest for those who knew me from the start or have read some of my novels, you know that I keep it quite short but interesting in comparison to other stories and write and release chapters in a short time.
          
          Now that is all for the portion of Running Away From Feelings.

More details about the new 2025 version of I’m Not Just Your Boy Toy:
          
          -The original version will be kept on all platforms especially due to its legacy, my point for this novel is not to erase my past legacy, it’s for a new legacy.
          
          -The title, story description, cover art and erotic content remain the same, even though there's slightly more erotic content in the 2025 version.
          
          -For the first time the 2025 version will be the same on all platforms, with no more differences between versions, and it’ll be one unique one for all. I’m mostly doing so to reduce the workload of managing my novels on 3 different platforms and also to make things go faster.
          
          -My point is that it’ll allow for new readers to find out I’m not just your boy toy, and enjoy it, also a new way to engage with readers. There’s a significant difference between me of 2023 who was new and 2025.
          
          -And lastly, for the ton of readers that have already read the original version, I just want readers to think of it as you read it in its beginning
          
          and now there’s an opportunity for even better.
          
          The bottom line:
          
          I am proud of my novel I’m not just your boy toy and everything I have accomplished, for me it’s truly a blessing that it's quite loved considering it was my first mature novel at the time and I was used to having next to no support.
          
          And with the 2025 version, I hope that it kickstarts a new wonderful legacy and my return to writing and the community as I will be working on my new novel next.

Announcement! A new work is officially in the works and ready to be published soon!
          
          Yes, for real this time, I have finally been working on something that works, low risk and something I know readers enjoy and that I’m comfortable in.
          
          As I had mentioned previously I was going to start editing the entire novel of I’m not just your boy toy and I did.
          
          Through I went a bit further, and as I went through the process of editing, I decided to make a new 2025 version of I’m Not Just Your Boy Toy.
          
          This means this novel will be republished as a new novel, so the 2025 version will include the improvement in writing in chapters, a few new chapters or edited scenes, + the extra I mentioned.
          
          I know it seems insane but I have been working on it for the past two weeks and the good news is that I’m already done editing at the half point of the novel and it has been doing well, way better than any project I have attempted so far since I’ve been on hiatus.
          
          However, as I despairingly want new content to be pushed out and already half of the edited version is completed, I have decided to publish the 2025 version as it stands today.
          
          By the middle part of the week next week, I will publish it for review and by then it will be available to read on all platforms as the new 2025 version of a separate novel. 
          
          Thank you for your patience and understanding. And even if it’s with my most successful novel that I make my return, I can’t wait to finally make my return for real! 

I rarely post as I’m barely on here but I just want to say that I’m back after an unexpected 3-month longue hiatus and that Running away from feelings will be making its return in the coming days. 

For some reason, I never care to mention it but in the last few months, a lot has changed for me as an author. My novels are not only available on Tapas and here but on Inkitt too! It’s been two months since then but it’s never too late to mention it. 
          
          Inkitt is another platform with novels, through only books. It supports authors and readers a lot, as feedback, and reviews can be made on there. 
          
          It’s safe to say that’s the sole reason, I seem quite silent on here. 
          
          Joining Inkitt was the best decision I’ve done so far, as it allowed me to attain my full potential. It lets my novels become loved and popular. Let’s say certain novels like I’m not just your boy toy became instantly popular. It’s been read all over the world. 
          
          If you wish to read my novels in a much-improved version, you can go check out Inkitt. It’s wonderful for authors and readers. Trust me there’s a variety of interesting books on there just like here. 

Kinda late on this one but, happy new years! The year of 2022 has gone by so fast it’s crazy. I accomplished a lot of things in the past year. Last year at this time of the year, sure I wasn’t on Wattpad yet, but I almost quit writing all together. Things weren’t gong well with me personally, but last year I became stronger. I promised myself I would be more disciplined as a writer and definitely respected that last year! I’m really proud that I completed 3 stories, maybe a fourth soon? I wasn’t able to do a year ago. I managed to deal with two novels at the same time back in April-July. I also became a member on here, thus I post my novels on Tapas and on here. As a student it was really hard for me everything that I accomplished but I’m proud I did. I posted, yes, my favorite novel Our complicated love story, despite the fact I knew it would be judged and criticized for it’s nature. I accomplished two LGBTQ+ novels for the first time! One of which I recently completed and it has over 30 episodes! While for this year, I know that I expect a lot out of me and you all too. Last year was a year of accomplishment, well this year will be a year, of new things, exploration! In the coming weeks a lot will happen that I can tell and it also concerns my future projects.
