Hello everyone!
Thought I’d post an update since it’s been a while. Book 2 is still simmering in my brain. As far as progress is concerned, it exists as an outline for now.
I’ve had to press pause on it because I’ve been writing script after script after…
This year alone, I’ve completed basically two feature-length scripts (one a social media adventure and another a black romance) meant for the micro-drama space. They are currently being considered for development.
My next project will be finishing turning “Secrets We Keep” into a micro drama script. Then I’ll be working on a horror micro drama script. It’s been insane but fun!
ETA on book 2 you ask? Rest assured, it will be this year. Thank you for your patience!
Actually when I’m done with the micro drama version of “The Secrets We Keep,” I’ll be turning book 2 of the series into a micro drama script as well, then turning it into a book. I know. Insane.
Anyways that’s my update for now. When I have any more exciting news to share, I’ll post it here and on my blog https://laurenmhayes.com.

I just wanted to post an update. I’m working furiously to finish my vampire coming of age novel. I’m more than halfway done. As of right now, I don’t plan on posting it here. I will likely shop it around to get representation and/or self-publish it as an ebook on Amazon and all the ebook retailers. More info to follow as it becomes available.
In regards to book 2 of “The Secrets We Keep” series, I will post new chapters likely and realistically in August. I thank you so much for your patience and for reading and commenting on my crazy story!

@JoAnnaGuthrie9 yes there will be a sequel to secrets we keep coming soon. Spring of next year I plan on posting chapters for it.
I wanted to give you all an update. I've completed my script for my vampire coming of age story (after about 6 revisions!) Phew! Now it's in my husband's hands to get it made.
Now, I'm working on turning "The Secrets We Keep" into a screenplay, based on my book. That may take some time. So I hope you'll forgive me for not posting Book 2 of "The Secrets We Keep" novel right away. Please note that I've already outlined Book 2 and do plan on posting it likely early next year.
After I'm done turning "The Secrets We Keep" novel into a screenplay, I will begin writing the vampire story as a novel, with plans to post it here. Hope you all like vampires!
