i present to you my cheating slam poetry. (based on last night/early this morning)
          
          i don’t ever want to hear the word baby again. 
          i don’t want anyone calling me by that name. you’ve ruined it. which is funny because you were the only one i let use it. it was different coming out of your mouth. i love you…loved you. you’ve ruined color pink and the song iris. you know i loved the song. but not as much as i loved you. i thought this was it. we were going to be the couple that lasted. my only relationship i can confidently say i cherished the most. i promised you so many things and i kept those promises. you broke every single one. “i was sad” is not an excuse. you broke my trust. i bought you flowers, i held your hand, for the first time i wasn’t afraid to be who i was to the world if that meant i had you. 
          
          i never want to be called “baby” again. i lay in my bed sick to my stomach from anger. how dare you have the nerve to text me “wyd i can’t sleep.” i hope you don’t sleep for everyday we were together.
