I’m lowkey kinda annoyed rn. I saw art of this cute possibly poly couple (2 guys 1 girl) and one of the guys was less “straight looking”. There were these comments saying they only see him with the man and that it was a jumpscare seeing him kiss the girl. Idk it just seems stereotypical to not think feminine guys can be bi….
@sovuer that’s what I’m thinking. I know there are less queer literature than traditional straight literature. But feminine straight guys are basically non existent especially in romance. There are anime guys who’s sexual orientation are ambiguous but that’s about it for representation mostly.
@lavender-exe Tbh they get enough representation? like don't get me wrong but they obv have never seen a feminine straight man so obv that needs more representation?
@sovuer I don’t even know tbh…i was discussing my story with people outside of Wattpad on multiple apps. A lot of them think I erased gay representation by making Aurèle straight. I explained that I wanted the rare representation of straight feminine men. They said I was playing victim. And I’m pretty sure atleast one of the people complaining wasn’t even a gay man.
A big pet peeve of mine is when people do character hcs and all the males are doms and all the females are subs. Sometimes they do that with a canon dom female character and it’s annoying asf
Hello author... I'm in love with your book "on her canvas" so I'm always looking forward a new chapter. Are you planning on continuing this book or not?
Yup there’s a guaranteed new chapter every month. Exams are coming up so things are a bit slow for now. But don’t worry I’m for sure not leaving this book unfinished^ ^
Idk how to explain but neteyam got a service sub type of vibe to him. I’m not even saying this in a sexual way but yk? I would go more into it but idkkk
Waiting for avatar 2 to get on soap2day even though I’m a jake sully hater. But neteyam and lo’ak are sooo cute omg. Might write about them or something
@ensan- yesss like ATLEAST put one and that’s the bare minimum. It’s sooo unrealistic that a multiple tribes from a completely different planet are like this. I also know they were based on bipoc which have many matriarchal tribes too…
I HATE when submissive female characters are written as dumb and stereotypically emotional. Like just because you’re submissive it doesn’t mean you’re a…child. The rare occasion that I like sub female leads is when they are written like an actual person.
