After reading the previous announcement, and as a newish member, I'm quite sad this club won't be continuing. If anyone would be interested in staying in a book club of this format, I volunteer to start up a new one with first dibs on joining given to members of this club. Please send me a PM if this is something that interests you. I'll go ahead and write up the rules and get everything put together if there's enough interest.

          We hope you all are having a great day. This is a big announcement so every member, please do read.
          
          The Lavender and Pearls Book Club will be shutting down for an indefinite amount of time. Therefore, there will be no more new assignments following Assignment Thirty-Eight and of course, there will be no new members. If the LaPBC will ever open again, @forevermyland will make sure to announce it. 
          
          Thank you all for joining us and being a part of the book club! We hope everyone was able to learn more and make some friends.
