Happy 11K, ABTB! Maraming salamat sa mga patuloy na sumusubaybay kina Azarel at Nahla kahit 2 yrs ko na sigurong sinusulat sila lol! Next update is still uncertain bc the device I use for writing got LCD from super typhoon. I hope I get to close the book by the end of the year & I also hope you bear with me and ABTB a little longer :)

I'm praying for those who were affected by the recent disaster and hopeful you're safe and sound. Thank you for this another milestone! Have a nice evening!

Hi. Pardon me for taking up space in your notification but please hear me out for a moment. I hope you can find at least a little bit of time to read this as this message will detail the happenings here in our country.

The government is covering up their crimes, the protesters are being oppressed by the cops & they are silencing the Filipinos. It could be shown in the yesterday's rally that the government had mobilized cops, swat, coast guards, etc. to suppress the protesters from moving forward to their destined location e.g. Malacañang Palace.

On the other side of the rally, another group of protesters were in a heated up protest and were fighting the cops. Several protesters were injured, killed, and was beaten up mercilessly—even the innocent passerbys. The city mayor had also shamelessly called our protesters "utak-talangka" & "utak-adik" and denies the violence and brutality of the police against the Filipinos. There are barely any news coverage about the killings. If anything, the medias are stretching the issue and putting blame to the protesters—even calling them criminals.

One of the most devastating that took place last night around the area of Mendiola-Recto-Legarda was of a kid being shot dead by a police wearing civilian clothes. They even dragged a barely conscious body of a mother's child along the rough concrete, dropping him head down several times. The police are manhandling them, even a child.

Aren't serving and protecting us their job? Even the children's pleas to be freed seemed to be a music to their ears. Why are those who fight for the Filipinos' rights being suddenly labeled as criminals and threat to the actual criminals? Rather than holding those corrupted criminals accountable, making them pay for their sins & jailing them—the president of this country chose to cowardly feign ignorance by locking up those who voice out against corruption just to protect his reputation & allies as if being a performative loser isn't enough.

(2/2) The criminals are fleeing, they are demanding for protection, they are bathing in stolen luxuries from the blood, sweat, and tears of the poor Filipinos! Amidst all of the chaos around you, don't you still find the courage to speak up and fight for your own homeland? I am writing this as a citizen of the Philippines to spread awareness and encourage people with this humble platform I have to fight against corruption and have the monsters in our land be vanquished.

Even just for a brief moment, please use any way you can to save our homeland, the lives of Filipinos, and our future. Let us fight the corruption and end it all at once. We need to stop glorifying Filipinos resiliency. We deserve a system that protects and serves us—not just stories that praise how we survived.

            Thank you for reading this.
