My education includes a degree in history and a minor in political science, graduate hours in education,
two years of diligent Bible study at the Southwest School of Bible Studies in Austin, Texas, and a paralegal certificate after college. I read law books with a goal of attending law school but never did. Not too bad for a former three-time hs dropout with a GED, who used to hate school. My point in giving this info is that I learned that education is very important, and sometimes some of us have to learn things the hard way.

I am a former U.S. Marine, twice in the regulars and once in the active reserve (semper fi!), and have a high regard for all our military. Whether we always agree as to where our fighting men and women are sent, we, as Americans, need to stand up together and oppose our enemies and support our troops!

My hobbies include Bible study and writing novels. i would rather read something educational, rather than just read a book. Most books don't hold my attention for long. My reading preference is horror (no gore) or just plain scary, and historical fiction, or educational books.

I've wanted to be a writer since 1971, but put it aside for the military, education, work, family, etc. One day, after talking to a friend at work, I decided to take his advice, sit down, and write. That's what I did, and so I wrote Forever Endless Night, a vampire novel, and its sequel, Escape the Endless Night.

My advice to fellow authors is to simply think about your novel or book, jot down a few starter notes, keep a notebook for additional thoughts for a chapter guide and such, and just sit down and tell your story!
