I’m taking a break from writing on Wattpad because I have a lot of things going on in my life right now. It’s things that have happened in my family and also personal issues and for the first time this app isn’t helping me cope with it as it usually always did. 
          
          My relationship with Wattpad changed a lot because it just isn’t a safe place for me anymore but rather makes me feel isolated and tempted to fall into sin. 
          I used to write here because it helped me to work through my problems and writing shaped my personality and character in so many ways, but now I’m constantly in a fight with it.
          The stories Wattpad presents aren’t for the art of writing and the sake of the writers anymore but simply for gain and consumption. It grew superficial and just not a good place to be in and that’s why I’m not sure about my future on this app. 
          
          I’m truly sorry for the people who wait and ask me for updates. I loved entertaining you and being able to help you with my stories but my art was never for you or anyone’s consumption. It was always for me. 
          
          Because a writer is someone that has stories inside of them that have to come to the surface. These stories don’t ask to be good. 
          The art of writing is not optional and it’s not meant to be something people choose to do so that they can gain out of it. It comes out of a necessity to create.
          And I forgot that.
