@lconedy Awe thank you so much for your feedback! You’ve actually asked two questions that will be addressed pretty soon in the upcoming updates. You’ll get to meet Ryan’s family soon and they’ll ask her why it took her so long to come around. And Claire’s personality is definitely deeper than she’s putting on right now, I JUST finished updated her character profiles and how her and Ryan will develop a dark romance relationship. I hope you enjoy what’s coming up!
I hope I didn’t overwhelm you, but your writing does exactly what it should. Reading should make the reader think and feel. Your writing does just that…and more.
Author, your story is bringing such enjoyment to the readers following and commenting. I for one, want to thank you for allowing us to access and read your story! Your character development, and recent pivot in the plot line to Ryan being a Mafia Don are very well written. I definitely have two specific “asks”. The first one is, please let Claire be one step ahead of her betrayers. I could see her learning to protect and defend herself. She is written as intelligent and resilient, so in my opinion, It would be hard to see her as the damsel in distress. Second, sometimes writers are so involved in writing what is taking place, that the reader gets very little of the “why”? Things like why would Claire ever choose Ethan? Why would Ethan fail to remember that Claire’s family finances are what prop up his business? Why is Vanessa so very fixated on Clare? I believe I know the answers to these questions because you have created this so well. But a chapter with Ethan and Claire verbally pitted against each other would be amazing! They could yell their absolutely selfish and narcissistic reasons at one another!!!

To say your story, “Before I Said I Do” is really good is such an understatement. It has wonderful layers of betrayal and surprise. Brett does just betray one person. He is an equal opportunity betrayer! No one is safe from his ability to gaslight and manipulate. I am loving the book journey here…
