You should just write the fic you want to write.

@lcveaffair- you really don't have to. So many people end up using the same fc and love interest but still write completely different fics. It's completely normal! Like, you can pick a new fc and/or love interest if you truly want to, but you absolutely don't need to and should ignore anyone who criticizes you for something like that.
