            right,  that one red button i smashed the hell out of.  just trying to decide if it’s for the best.  that game gets me kinda  ..  riled up.   especially the harder levels closest to the last alien enemy.  might just break it again.

[ a smile of her own shines through the dimly-lit room as she's reaching for the gloves in her bag and putting them on,   giving him the chance to place the 7" single on the turntable platter.   the needle is lifted and placed on the initial deadwax,  hearing it crackle and pop until it reaches the actual starting point of the song.   the anticipation is palpable as the opening notes of "billie jean" filled the air.   the record continues to crackle and pop here and there—imperfections which is to be expected of a record that hasn't been properly stored and constantly replayed.   her existing smile only grows as she starts to sway in sync with the infectious rhythm. ]   ♫  she was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene  /  i said don't mind, but what do you mean,  i am the one  ♫

[ with the tiny stack in hand,   she walks over to the turntable set up and lifts dust cover (which unsurprisingly had a thick layer of dust settled on the outside) to reveal the tone arm,  platter,   and buttons. ]   would you dance with me?   i'll let you choose the song,   and i'll wear my special gloves.

            /  well that’s sweet of you!!  and i just know you’re going to crush both the project and the exam!  they’re always a pain but that feeling of just doing it and feeling like you’ve done a good job is sooo rewarding  <33  i hope to be active between now and up into the weekend,  so if you ever want me to make some drops,  lemme know!  :D
