cons of school holidays: i can no longer see my friends whose personality traits and senses of humour i leech off of, therefore leaving me alone with my own mind and thoughts with nothing to base it off of. a blank canvas, if you will... if the blank canvas is really unfunny and kind of sad

hello dudes who are waiting for the next chapter of the purpose of an angel/demon!! i'm so sorry for not having updated for like... a month or two since i'm going through probably the worst writer's + artist's block i've ever experienced. again, sorry!!!
@TheRandomRose sorry for taking so long to answer! i've been horribly busy this month due to having flown into canada, but cahetel would have never mentioned he was romantically involved with steve :)
my favourite thing is when someone votes on my chapters throughout reading each one because the notifications are kinda like a live feed of them reading it lmao
okay sO for elder church's whole backstory thing,,
he was fifteen and basically ran out of options for what to do with his dad so he got desperate and turned to more desperate measures which included uHHhh contacting a crossroads demon!!
he gave up his soul to a crossroads demon in exchange for his dad leaving, and the contract was SEALED woohoo! but at the price of his soul, which he promised to the demon in ten years
once his dad left (haven't decided whether hell interpreted that as killing him or not), church and his mum were slowly recovering from YEARS of trauma, until church realised he messed up and turned to mOrmonism as a sort of way to ignore the fact that he'll soon die and suffer eternal damnation
this kinda means that elder church later becomes a demon (another one, yay!)
this also means that his first kiss was probably with that crossroads demon!!! rip to this kid i guess

@TheRandomRose it was originally going to play a bigger role in the purpose of an angel/demon (kevin was going to be a crossroads demon at some point, as well as the same one that sealed the deal with church but i decided against that) but that might change since i do tend to change my mind a lot in how the story plays out sometimes (but i have set some rules for what can and can't be changed). and, yep! kevin would have decided that the deal was unfair (most deals he knows about are made out of selfish desire - usually people wanting to be rich, or popular) but he recognised this specific deal was one made out of desperation, so you're very correct!!! :) i do really want to implement church more into the story, so i've been trying to think of ways to do that.
