i have a little story/question, based off a true story. also im not joking around like usual, im taking this seriously because im very fucking upset. so, i go to a school in america where i live. if you go to school in america, your phone is most likely confiscated or you are not allowed to have it outside your locker during school hours. in my homeroom class, we have to put our phones in a cube cabinet all day and can use them at the end of the day before we leave. i do that this morning, keep in mind my phone is not broken. it has cracks on it, yes, but not close to broken. i have had it about a year and 2 months now. when i grab it at the end of the day, it is so broken its unusable. black spots all over the screen, screen is glitched out. that was not me, as i said my phone is put away all day and i cannot use it. if it wasnt me, then who the fuck was it. so i tell a teacher, she tells me to go to the front desk but im supposed to be leaving to go home at that time. so front desk lady makes me sit on a bench when im supposed to be leaving for 10 minutes and says she will call the principal. what does she not do? call the principal. what does she do? sit there and do nothing while talking to a teacher. i do end up telling her i had to leave by then and she lets me out, but like. i did not break my phone but it was given to me broken. am i responsible, or is the school or the person who broke it, if somebody did break it or it just magically broke, responsible.
