What books inspired you to write your own? Do you have any recommendations you'd give? Missing your works dearly ♡

@misanthropic-rose Hi!! It’s been a while since I’ve been on wp, but life has been hectic :,) as to your question, honestly, I don’t know. I’ve been dabbling in writing since I was a child and always wanted to write my own stories. Some of the children books that pushed me into writing are works by Enid Blyton, Roald Dahl, and the Geronimo Stilton series. It was around the time I started reading Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events that I tried my hand at writing a bit more seriously. Of course, my tastes in books have changed significantly since back then (seeing as how I’m no longer a child), but I still love those books dearly and remember them to this day because they made such a great impact in my life. Book recommendations! Here are some books I have read this year that I greatly enjoyed. Maybe you’ll find something you like amongst them: Water Moon by Samantha Sotto Yambao The God and The Gumiho by Sophie Kim The 22 Murders of Madison May by Max Barry A Far Wilder Magic by Allison Saft Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt The Wedding People by Alison Espach Slewfoot by Brom Fair Rosaline by Natasha Solomons Thank you for leaving me a message on my board and thinking of me after all this time. I still remember you from when you first read my works and left such lovely comments. I really appreciate you! All my best and love to you ♡
