Growing up in Alaska in a house made of books, I told stories before I could read and write. A teacher made me write my first short story in 5th grade. I hated it, but the process ignited something in me that has never gone out.

Long dark winters encourage reading and writing and the Alaska wilderness provides plenty of adventure that appear throughout my writing. I'm really a genre hopper, but as I am about to publish The Willow Branch (Book 1 of the Daermad Cycle) I guess I am currently a fantasy writer.

You can find me in way too many places on the web, connected to my two main platforms --
