wow.

i haven’t ventured onto this platform in months, but in that time stray curls has doubled in reads and i’ve received so many lovely comments from you all.

i wrote the entirety of stray curls two summers ago, and it was both my final completed work and the one i am proudest of. sure, it’s lined with naïveté and hopelessly romantic, but i think that’s what i and many of you love about it.

whatever it is, i appreciate all the love you guys have given my work; it means the world to me, and hopefully one of these days i’ll sit down and write again because it’s something i always loved.

          	thank you all.

I'm honestly surprised seeing that such an old account is still active to this very day ...
That explains your loyalty to Watty *salutes*

to wattys entrants:

i will be entering “stray curls” in the wattys 2019.

the last wattys i entered were (i think) the wattys 2015, so i am beyond excited.

that being said, i will be recruiting beta readers, exchanging editing services, looking over plenty of graphics and formats to make her look the part, and refining my work in every way i can.

if you’d like to help with this process in any way or you’re seeking help with your own entry, feel free to pm me. i’ll be doing a bit of editing, and if you’ve actually read this far, you can ask for a free cover or story/character aesthetic (see any of the graphics between my two books for examples).

this is going to be an intensive, collaborative effort, and i can’t wait to see the progress of our works by august.

not sure if anyone will answer this, but:

i’ve been making character aesthetics, and so far i only have one for Marguerite and one for Morrison.

what other characters could use character aesthetics? Tyler? Archer? even Ryan?

(i should’ve included Ryan more. he’s so kind. i’ll probably edit him further into Marguerite’s world.)

if you have opinions, please let me know.

          thanks again for the love.

quasi-update:

currently working on new formatting for stray curls. it may change a lot, or it may stay the same—

          who knows?

bear with the inconsistency as i re-format every. single. chapter.

i may stop halfway through or change the formatting continually.

basically, if it looks messy, it’s my process.

thanks for nearly 1k reads on my pride and joy, stray curls.
