She lets out a quiet sigh,   a smile tugging at the corner of her mouth despite herself.   ``Wow.  Tragedy averted.   I almost became public enemy number one…   to a school of emotionally sensitive fishies.``   Her gaze flicks to him—calm,   amused.   ``Tell them I appreciate the mercy.  I’ll bring the snacks next time. Promise. `` She pauses,   then adds under her breath with a tiny smirk:   ``Still think/ing/ you’re way too dramatic to be their translator,   by the way.``
