Shortly after Silas and Carmens first date, their undeniable attraction starts to sprout into a beautiful relationship. When no one is looking, Silas will sneak Carmen a few kisses that’ll have any girl fall to her knees. Silas eventually tells his family the news that him and Carmen are taking things serious but slowly and the Bianches were very ecstatic. Milana, of course, told her Mother and Father and they too almost flew in from Italy to celebrate the beautiful news until one of the most unexpected things happened. 2 months after the date, Silas and the crew were in Serbia for a meeting with the Serbian Mafia when Erinna’s health started to decline rapidly. The chemo stopped working and the cancer spread to her brain. Erinna was in hospice and it wasn’t looking good. The meeting was immediately postponed as the crew headed straight to Italy where the rest of the family was. Unfortunately 3 days after everyone had flown in, Erinna Marie Carson Bianche sadly passed away with her loving husband, kids, and grandchildren by her side. To say the least, the family was devastated and her funeral was planned for the weekend after. Carmen stood by Silas and the rest of the Bianches as they said goodbye to a wonderful woman who loved everyone and everything around her until another disaster struck. When Carmen excused herself to go to the bathroom after the service, she was brutally punched and beaten by a Russian spy who had been keeping a close eye on “La Catrina.” Elijah later had found an unresponsive Carmen on the bathroom floor as everyone started to look for her.
