Lena is a real nurse on the frontlines of a Pittsburgh hospital. She is also a doctoral student, local theater actress, podcast host and mother of two teens. To say she is busy is an understatement. Her newest book, Code Blood (sequel to Bite Shift) is due out May 2022. When she is not working, writing, acting or recording - she loves to appear at conventions to talk to fellow vampire fans. Her dream is to write and act for a living.
