I don't know if anyone even reads these, but I need your help.
What do you tell a friend who calls you to say she needed to talk to someone to prevent herself from doing something stupid? What do you do when she says how she's a burden and making everyone's lives around her worse and how it would probably be better if she didn't exist anymore? Which is probably supported by her family telling her that they get sad everytime she's feeling down, so she also feels guilty for that. And that there's nothing that makes her feel happy anymore, so she drinks and smokes weed almost everyday to at least feel nothing for a bit which makes her hate herself even more than she already does. And what can you do when you currently live 900 km away from her, so you can't even be physically there for her? I also feel like she's getting way too emotionally attached to hear boyfriend, so it really scares me to think about what would happen if he hurt her or broke up with her.
And she would probably hate the fact that I'm laying awake at 3 am thinking about her, because I promised her not to think about this too much...
I hate to watch her like this, but I also don't know what I can do, so please help me if you have any advice.
