I'm back!! Well, I've been working on some short stories/letters to fuel my creativity spark as I get back my love for reading. I got really into reading again in 2022, and started this short story idea towards the end of last year. It has now been a year since I've started, and I'm excited to share the first part of this short story collection! I'm so sorry to anyone who's been reading or keeping up with my story! Obviously, I never ended up getting the time to update my story before my summer break, and between working and vacation, I was home for less than a week this entire summer. I have started my first term in university, and I have only managed to settle into my work-life balance now.
As for Summer '17, I will probably rewrite the direction of it. In a way, this story was inspired by my experience of working at summer camp, at a place that had become my second home. So much has changed from the time I had initially been published, so I don't know if I will continue with the original idea. Maybe I will.
I have a new concept for a summer camp story, so this story might just become a short story for a future concept. I might focus on other characters in a spinoff of this one... maybe Summer '19? Similar idea? I don't know. In a sense, this story is like a personal diary of my life? So I'll see if I ever end up writing a spinoff.
But I promise that I will finish Summer '17!!
