I finished watching The Witcher on Netflix. See what I thought about it!

After writing about Hagall on my blog [http://leonparenzo.com/2019/03/02/wyrd-agents-of-hagall/], I find myself wanting to write side stories about the agents and their missions.

Just some one-shot stories. Do you want to hear about them? You see, Reeta's djinn assistant was sent off to the Hagall archives to put the files to order. There are stones filled with runes, stacks of flat wood etched with the details of missions, piles of papyrus and papers dating for many centuries with unfading ink of agents' accounts. "What stories do they contain," wondered the djinn as she entered the archives.

Well, I will shelf that idea for now and focus on finishing On Probation. And when I'm done, perhaps I will take that idea and run with it.

I've been blogging about the world that I created for On Probation. You can check it out at http://leonparenzo.com/2019/02/26/the-world-of-%e3%80%8eon-probation%e3%80%8f/

It helps clear things in my writing brain's clutter. So much so that I've made edits on Inwuz and Isaz chapters. I will be editing the other two chapters Othila and Ehwaz before continuing the next instalment of this story.

I encourage you to read the first two chapters then wait for me to edit the next. I was trying to be more secretive when I started this, and I think the story fell more flat because of it.

Aside from writing and working, I also enjoy reading and watching material in the fantasy genre. One of the new series I started on recently is Legacies. I watched Vampire Diaries and The Originals before, but truthfully did not finish either series. But the universe of Legacies is familiar enough for me not to get confused with it.

One thing though, Witch-Vampire-Werewolf trio of supernatural beings to me feels overused already. It's exciting and fun, of course. But I wanted to write a fantasy fiction that isn't centered on this famous three.

Hence, I'm writing On Probation which if successful would be the first of a few stories about the same characters. Not entirely a series. Well, at least that's the plan for now.

It centers around Fates which is in every mythos but called by another name. The world has changes since the beginning of time. Fates cannot take care of every destinies of humans. So they set up agencies around the globe and hired agents to deal with all of it. "On Probation" revolves around an agent named Reeta.
