no i need to talk about this. ship wars are so stupid, i mean the amount of times i’m attacked for stupid reasons like having an opinion is just crazy. i don’t ship aeon, but i don’t necessarily dislike it. the reason why? not because i think they’re toxic and all that bullshit, but because re isn’t a romance game, it’s a fucking survival game. (to me, at least.) i don’t SEE the point in shipping. i mean can’t we just appreciate the fucking game instead of arguing about ‘aeon’ and ‘cleon’ or ‘lashley’ like seriously. they’re fictional fuckinf characters. not to mention the amount of times i’m getting told to ‘kms’ for not shipping aeon or a fake fan or a leon dickrider. like omg sorry! i didn’t know that it was compulsory to ship re characters!

@leonsgvrl Fr like re isn’t all about Leon and his potential love interests, I started playing the game cuz I saw an edit of Leon and I got interested but now that I’ve played it and watched all the movies I’m actually loving re so much and not just obsessing over Leon. The ship wars *are* idiotic, like why can’t we have our opinions and get along instead of fighting over them? I too don’t ship ‘aeon’ or ‘lashley’ and the movies ruined ‘cleon’ so I say we just leave the relationship shit to capcom and see what they come up with for who ends up together. And if they don’t, then that’s okay, cuz the games and movies itself are way better than getting involved in ship wars. Like I’m so glad someone said it, thank you sm girly you don’t gotta apologize
