What parents need to understand is that children aren't colouring books you don't get to colour them with your favourite colours.
Just because they're young doesn't mean they don't have a personality.
I know parents wants the best of us but they need to realise our inner selves too. How can a bird learn to fly and go places if you don't let it be free.
You were red and you liked me because I was blue
You touched me and suddenly I was a lilac sky

things
that were meant for her
but she was drawn
to it all.

When someone says “you've changed” it simply means you've stopped living your life their way.
The moral of this story is that no matter how much we try, no matter how much we want it...some stories just don't have a happy ending.
Life is kind of like a party.
You invite a lot of people, some leave early, some stay all night, some laugh with you, some laugh at you, and some show up really late.
But in the end, after the fun, there are a few who stay to help you clean up the mess.
And most of the time, they aren't even the ones who made the mess.
These people are your real friends.
They are the ones who matter the most.
