What’s this? A new Subnautica: From the Dust update after four months... Yep! 
          
          I didn’t intend for the wait to be so long, and I can’t apologise enough to those of you who have been waiting. It means a lot that you have stuck with it and I absolutely plan on finishing the story. It’s all planned, it just needs writing. 
          
          The reason there has been such a gap between the last chapter and this update is that I have been working every hour I can on my original web novel, trying to get chapters done and out, and create some lore stuff, so the fanfiction side of my writing has taken a bit of a back seat. If any of you are fans of fantasy/sci-fi and want to give it a read, it is available at legendsofmyriad.com, on Tumblr, and here on Wattpad (@LegendsofMyriad). It would mean the world to get some more eyes on it. 
          
          On the Subnautica front, I’m going to try to get chapters out a little more regularly. We are now about halfway through the sequel, with around 20 more chapters to go, and a lot more waiting for Lyra, Cassidy, Samuel, and Hunter.

          It's been far too long since I posted an update but I wanted to thank you all for your support this year and your patience. You have all been so kind and it means a lot to me to see the sweet comments and votes whenever I post a story update. 
          
          Next year I hope to do some more updates like this to let you know where I'm up to with everything, especially Subnautica: From the Dust (which will be updated again in the new year).
          
          I know I've said this in a previous post before, but since I've gained a few new followers over the past couple of months, I want to add a quick reminder not to send personal messages/dms. I don't reply to them and depending on the content, you may get blocked.

          Just a quick update today to let you all know that the next piece of bonus content for Subnautica: Echoes will be up next Friday (22nd April). The sequel is underway and I have the first chapter drafted, so I thought that the next bonus content could be some teasers on what is to come.

How do so few people know about you? Your Subnautica book was awesome!

          It has been a while and I can’t apologise enough! Unfortunately, I’ve needed to take some time off, but I’m slowly getting back to writing. 
          I have had some thoughts about what I’d like to do for the next Subnautica: Echoes bonus content, and I had the idea of doing a Q&A where you can ask the characters some questions. If you'd like to ask the characters something, you can leave your question(s) in the comments of this post. You can ask as many questions as you like, just make sure you add who it is for. If I get enough responses, I will post the Q&A in the new year.

New Subnautica: Echoes bonus content is out!

Hello all!
          
          I hope you’re all well! It’s been a little while since I last posted, so I thought I’d post an update. 
          
          - I’d like to apologise for my recent absence. My partner was able to visit last month, and having not seen him since February 2020, I decided to take a break from writing to spend some time with him. 
          - I have almost finished the next Subnautica: Echoes bonus story. I focused on Astrid for this one to give you all a chance to have a look at her character. I’m hoping to publish it soon, but I will post an update to let everybody know when it’s ready. 
          - On the subject of Subnautica, I would like to introduce you all to Subnautica: From the Dust. That’s right! The Subnautica: Echoes sequel has been planned in its entirety and also has a name! I will be getting started on it soon, and I am super excited to get going on this one. Not sure when it will be out, but I will keep you all updated on its progress. 
          - Another Subnautica side note: if any of you wanted to do any fanart/fanfics on Subnautica: Echoes (or any of my works) please feel free to do so. I know some authors don’t like fans doing things like that with their work, but I don’t mind. My social media profiles are in my bio, so if you post any of your work, please tag me. I’d love to see what you all create!
          - A little note to anybody sending me private messages: don’t. I would like to make it very clear that I will not be responding to them. I’ve had a couple of guys popping up in my inbox, and it’s obvious what they’re trying to do. If you do this, I will block you straight away.
