I saw one of my followers share there story so I wanted to do the same,In honor of suicide prevention month imma share my story.It started when I was 10 I live in a Muslim house hold and there were gender roles and mistreatment among the girls in my house hold me and my sister and I had an older brother and a younger one.I got raped when I was 8 I didn’t really want to believe that happened to me until last year when I was 14,and I also got assaulted 2 times by different people.Ever since my sister moved to college my mom mistreated me and make me clean cook and gaslight me and verbally abuse me.My dad was never in my life and I don’t want him to be.I tried harming myself and even thought ab overdosing myself and would cry saying that I don’t want to be alive anymore and tried pushing people out of my life.And during this time I gain weight and started feeling insecure ab my body so I started wearing baatis more (Baatis are Somali dresses and really baggy u can search it up if u want) and I decided to work out and eat less and now I’m more skinny then a year or 2 ago.I started Anti-depressants April I wanted to kms a week or a couple days ago last month and around a week before April vacation.I’m 15 now my sister is planning on taking me to live in Texas with her starting next month bc I can’t deal living with my mother anymore(this isn’t all this is just a little of what I’ve delt with) my sister told me life is going to get better but I keep on waiting for it to get better but still doesn’t but idk anymore.I just wanted to share my story I’m most like not going to kms I still have thoughts but I’m working on myself on the mean time for anyone else to is suicidal you can talk to me❤️.
