So I’m gonna post it on here, it was a bitch to write out. It’s called A Celestial Dance. Enjoy!! :)
The sun and moon, two stars in the sky,
One bright and shining, one pale and shy.
The sun, the golden heart, warm and bright,
The moon, the mystery, the cool night.
The sun loves the moon, its shine and its power,
The moon loves the sun, its warmth and its shower.
They gaze upon each other across the sky,
Dreaming of a day when they can finally try.
The Sun is no longer as bright,
The once burning passion, now a quiet fright.
As the Moon turns its face away,
The Sun's love slowly starting to decay.
Once, a love so strong, so true,
Now fading, turning to a pale hue.
The Sun, still caring, still holding on,
But the Moon, slowly drifting, slipping from its grasp, gone.
The Sun and Moon, once so fond,
A love that shone, shining bright and unbound.
As time passed, that love did start to wane,
No longer burning bright, extinguished by a change.
The Sun, still shone, as always did,
But its light no longer held the same bid.
The Moon, still shining, still so grand,
Its love, but a fading, fleeting stand.
And though they still held love in their hearts,
It was love that was fading, losing its spark from the start.
That’s my poem, yippeeee!!!
