You don't need to read fields to understand it at all, but if you're interested in the characters you can read fields @faithfulnarrator. Sorry I've been so inactive around here. I'm going to be posting some one shot/character driven "fluff" type of chapters up here with the characters from fields. It's nothing serious, but I have no other account to post it on. If you're interested in fields itself you can see it on my other profile, though I'll be sure you don't have to read that whole thing to get this (unless you want too.) more a personal project to warm myself up.
