Progress update on Koete!
          
          Chapters 14 and 15 are almost done. I just have to write the opening scene and closing scene. It's the same episode (Bato of the Water Tribe), but it got to 20k words so I'm splitting it up (15 to be released at a later date to let me get a head start on writing).
          
          Chapter 16 (the Deserter) is currently being drafted. It's still in transcript form, and I'm adding Charlie's dialogue into it to see where she fits in. 
          
          Overall, lots of progress is being made!

Hey all. Sad update.
          
          I know I said I'd try to get another chapter out before the end of the year, but those of you who are following Koete know that my dad was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. Unfortunately, last week, he passed away.
          
          While I'm slowly healing from that loss, I will continue writing because it makes me happy, but I am spending a lot of time with family, especially leading up to Christmas. I don't believe I can get the next chapter out until next year.
          
          I know I joked about the writers curse, but it really is hitting hard right now. 
          
          Feel free to reach out on my tumblr, like-islands. It's new, just for fic-related content and writing stuff. But it's pretty empty right now. Asks are open if you want spoilers or to ask questions about Charlie.

In case you wanna know how the next chapter is going, I'm at 5k works and not even six minutes into the episode.

i know it's been years but I am BACK. Continuing writing chapter 13: the fortuneteller(s) right now. The script is all written, I'm just putting it into prose!!
