There are a lot of kinds of books on Wattpad. Mostly, there are romance novels about a celebrity/popular rich kid/prince/princess and their "commoner-like" love interest. These stories all have the same beginning and ending, and although the journey to the end of each book will differ, they will likely all contain a tale which is so unrealistic it makes the concept of North Korea being a peaceable nation seem likely. 

Don't get me wrong-- nearly everyone likes to read these kinds of books at least once in their life, and I don't think there's anything wrong with doing so occasionally, but (and this is a big but) they're not real-- and the issue is most people, even if on a subconscious level, want them to be real, causing them to spend much of their romantic life chasing after this unachievable ideal. It's as dangerous and mind-warping as the photo-shopped covers on magazines telling girls what they need to look like to be beautiful.

These stories on this page won't contain a plethora of sex and make out sessions, or a romance novel with the only basis of the plot being the couple themselves, or even a bland book that serves no purpose but to fulfill a need to read a chick-flick movie turned book (which yes, can be considered porn if the book is explicit enough). There won't be back-stabbing diva queens terrorizing a fancy preparatory academy in California, or a party where the leading lady experiences a dramatic physical transformation and ends up drunk in a closet playing seven minutes of heaven with some jock who would've never given her a second glance before.

No, these books will do something for you.
