@aaagggttt sorry, i didn't notice your message earlier. But these are few tips that I wish someone gave me during my first year. First, read the text, novels, poems,sonnets, and also try to annotate it. Try to make your own answers by using websites such as litcharts and there other few. Do not use chatgpt, trust me it's useless. Pro tip, while writing your answers, use quotes from the text and sometimes critics remarks are also very useful. If you have a seperate history part in your syllabus, make simple notes and flashcards. Another advice I would give is if you use AI for anything, try to reduce it, because it diminishes your critical thinking skills, which is very essential if you're a literature student.
