Hi, it is lilac✧(fake name lmao!). So growing up I have always loved the romance genre, since I was a kid I'd fantasise about the romance genre, like many other girls. But the problem arises when I noticed that in most Wattpad stories and webtoons, pretty basically the female leads of every other media showcasing the romance genre, are inherently gifted with attributes which results the male lead falling for them in the first place. I always found that every emotion that the female leads feel hold no value, once the male lead confesses his love. There is nothing wrong with this kind of love stories at all! But I found that most stories of this genre represented the same romanticized female emotions which developed the plot. I was kinda tired :-P , so I decided to write something that I would like to read and relate to, in hopes I find an audience who resonate with my craft.
Please don't misinterpret my words, I believe that writing a story is art, and art has no limits, no boundaries, no matter what the art represents, no art can be called wrong, if a sort of art appears wrong to one, that art was never created for them. So it is fine to write stories comprising of whatever the writer wants to compose. I am no one to judge. Romance and fantasy are beautiful genres, which capture the passion of human spirit, and I'm excited to interpret these genres in my own ways.
Lastly, English is not my first language, I am supposed to be good at it, but I might make mistakes, so please, please be kind. One fun fact about me is that I am attracted to men, but I don't find men attractive.
Warmest regards,
