Her hurt cut deep into my soul. Her hurt penetrated my heart and consumed it. Her hurt was my pain, a pain that would always remain long past the return of her smile. Her hurt was hard on my own body, it ached always. Her tears flooded my eyes too, drowning me in the salty release of her pain. Her scars dug into my ears screaming for me to help.
